Google is the most visible place, but not the only one. Many customers find you on Apple Maps (the iPhone’s default map), Yelp, Bing, TripAdvisor or delivery apps. If each one shows different hours or a different phone number, customers hesitate, and hesitation usually ends at another restaurant.
Name, address and phone: always identical
Write a “master listing” with your exact name, address (in one format: “Suite 4” or “#4”, but always the same), phone, website, hours and menu link. Use it to check and fix every listing.
The listings to check first
- Google Business Profile: the priority. Full guide here.
- Apple Maps (Apple Business Connect): free; lets you claim your listing, change hours and add photos.
- Yelp for Business: claim your page for free. You don’t need to buy ads to correct your details.
- Bing Places: free and can import your Google details.
- Facebook and Instagram: hours, address and menu link in the profile info.
- Delivery apps: hours and menu, especially on holidays.
- TripAdvisor: if you get tourists or visitors.
How often to check
Once a quarter and whenever something changes (hours, phone, menu). Holiday hour changes: everywhere at once. Our dates calendar reminds you in time.
If information appears that you didn’t add
Some listings pull data from other sources or accept user suggestions. That’s why claiming your listing matters: you can correct it and get notified of changes.
LocalDual’s Growth plan includes up to 2 listing fixes per month. Start with the free review and we’ll tell you where your details conflict.
